- 1. Basic Usage
- This program was designed to be used at sporting events to give
- the DJ the ability of being able to quickly and easily add sound
- effects to the game or event. While being able to tell which file(s)
- have been used and which file(s) haven't been used.

- 2. Edit Mode
- A. Use the Edit Mode / Play Mode Key to toggle between editing the
- settings for the buttons and page keys and playing sounds or
- switching between pages.
- B. Manual Edit Mode opens the set file in Windows notepad.

- 3. Some Questions and Answers
- A. Can I change the color scheme?
- Yes you can change the color scheme. Here is how:
- Open the file called pcdj.ini and change the numerical
- value for BorderColor and UsedColor.
- The different options are:
- 1 Aqua
- 2 Black
- 3 Blue
- 4 Dark Gray
- 5 Fuchsia
- 6 Gray
- 7 Green
- 8 Lime
- 9 Light Gray
- 10 Maroon
- 11 Navy
- 12 Olive
- 13 Purple
- 14 Red
- 15 Silver
- 16 Teal
- 17 White
- 18 Yellow

- B. Will PC DJ Automatically Open a Set File?
- Yes. Edit the pcdj.ini file and enter the path and filename of a
- valid set file.

- C. Can I Manually edit a *.set file?
- Yes. Open the set file in a text editor and follow the pattern it's
- pretty simple and easy to understand.

- D. Can I have the source code?
- NO! But that is negotiable, contact me and tell me why you want
- the source code, then we will talk.

- E. Why don't all the buttons work?
- Probably becuase you haven't entered a valid serial number.
- Without a valid serial number you can only use the first six buttons and
- the first three pages.

- F. A *.cda file won't play.
- You probably have more than one CD-Rom and PCDJ is looking for the file
- on your default CD-Audio device as set in Control Panel / Multimedia /
- CD-Audio.
